Essential Educational Qualifications
A candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Conservator of Forests must have a Bachelor of Science, Technology or Engineering degree from University established by law in India or an equivalent degree with at least one of the following subjects viz.-
(i) Agriculture, (ii) Botany, (iii) Chemistry, (iv) Computer Application/Computer Science,(v)
Engineering- Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical (vi) Environmental Science, (vii)Forestry, (viii) Geology, (ix) Horticulture, (x)Mathematics, (xi)Physics, (xii) Statistics, (xiii)
Veterinary Science, (xiv) Zoology.
Preferential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of service in Territorial Army. OR
- ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate of NCC
Age Limit
21 to 42 years as on 1st July 2019. Born between 1st July 1977 to 1st July 1998

Physical Test
For direct recruitment Male Candidates need to complete by foot 25 KMs and Female Candidates 14 KMs in 4 hours of time.
