Multiple Recruitment in VCSG Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry (VCSG UUHF)

The VCSG UTTARAKHAND UNIVERSITY OF HORTICULTURE & FORESTRY BHARSAR, PAURI GARHWAL University invites applications from eligible candidates on prescribed application format for filling-up the posts of Programme Coordinator (PC)/ Senior Scientist and Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) in Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs). Following vacant posts are to be filled by direct recruitment in KVKs.

Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

Programme Coordinator (PC)/ Senior Scientist:

Essential
a) For Disciplines other than Engineering subject: Doctoral degree in agriculture/horticulture/forestry and relevant allied subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/ Rs. 6000/ Rs. 7000/ Rs. 8000 having made contribution to agriculture/horticulture/forestry research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact.

b) For Engineering Disciplines
Doctoral degree in agriculture/horticulture/forestry and relevant allied engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/ Rs. 6000/ Rs. 7000/ Rs. 8000 having made contribution to agriculture/horticulture/forestry research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact.
OR
Master’s degree in the agriculture/horticulture/forestry and relevant allied engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/ Rs. 6000/ Rs. 7000/ Rs. 8000 having made contribution to agriculture/horticulture/forestry research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact.

Desirable
Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.

Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)/T6 (Agriculture Extension):

Master’s degree in agriculture extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)/T6 (Agronomy): 

Master’s degree in Agronomy or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Subject Matter Specialist (SMS)/T6 (Plant Protection): 

Master’s degree in Plant Protection (Entomology/Plant Pathology) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
