Recruitment for Postal Assistant (Sports Quota) in Almora & Pithoragarh

Applications are invited from the eligible meritorious sports persons in the postal assistant (Group C) under sports quota in Almora and Pithoragarh.

Following are the vacancies in Uttarakhand Postal Department:

Last Date for receipt of applications:

13th February 2019 in Normal Areas and 18th February 2019 in Remote areas.

Pay Scale:

Pay Matrix Level (IV) Rs. 25500 (Pre Revised Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-) plus other admissible allowances.

Age Limit:

Between 18 to 27 years as on closing date of recipient of application.

Relaxation: 5 years for OC, 10 Years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC candidates.

Educational Qualifications:

1. 10+2 Standard or 12th class pass from a recognized university with English as a compulsory subject.
2. Local Language Hindi as a subject subject at least in matriculation level or equivalent.
3. Standard certificate of Sports/Events (in which applied for) issued by the Component Authority.
4. Computer/Typing knowledge

Sports Eligibility:

1. Sports person who have represented a state or country in the national/international compatition in Volley Ball.
2. Sports person who have represented their University in the inter-university tournaments conducted by inter-university sports boards in Volley Ball.
3. Sports person who have represented the state school teams in national Sports/Games for schools conducted by All India School Games Federation in Volley Ball.
4. Sports person who have been awarded National awards in Physically Efficiency under the National Physically Efficiency Drive.

Selection:

The selection will be made strictly on the required educational &sports qualification and subject to fulfillment of other proscribed conditions and instructions as well as directions of the Competent Authority whose decision will be final.

How to Apply:

1. Candidates who are willing to apply need to fill application form in given format and pay the fees as UCR in any post office in Uttarakhand Circle and candidates of outside Uttarakhand circle should attach IPOs.
2. The applications to be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF POSTAL ASSISTANT IN UTTARAKHAND CIRCLE UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”.
3. One envelop should contain application for on candidate and for one discipline only along-with its required enclosures.
4. Photocopies of all certificates and documents duly attested by a gazetted officer to be sent along with the application.
5. 2 passport size photos
6. Applicant has to enclose a self addressed (envelop duly affixed postage stamp of Rs. 45/- theron)
7. UCR receipt in original or IPOs of required fee value
