A recruitment notification has been released by Uttarakhand Open University for the recruitment Teaching Faculty for session 2020 to 2021.
Uttarakhand Open University Haldwani invites online application from eligible candidates for the posts of 37 Professor, and Associate Professor in different subjects. Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply on or before 13 April 2020. Last Date of Receiving a hard copy of the application form with enclosures is 27 April 2020.

Educational Qualification
Minimum eligibility criteria for the posts will be in accordance with the UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for the appointment of teachers and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education, 2018 as adopted by the State of Uttarakhand.
Selection Procedure
The selection of the candidates will be based on Personal Interview.

Interested and Eligible Candidates may apply online through the official website i.e. www.uou.ac.in from 12 March to 13 April 2020. A printed copy of the duly filled Online Application form with all the required enclosures must reach the office of the Registrar, Uttarakhand Open University, Teenpani Bypass, Near Transport Nagar, Haldwani (Uttarakhand)-263139 on or before 27 April 2020 (till 05:00 PM) by speed / registered post only. Applications submitted in the person or in any other mode shall not be accepted.
Applicant should be clearly mentioned on his/her envelope, the name of the Post and subject applied for in CAPITAL LETTERS. Incomplete and received late applications will be rejected summarily.
